ABOUT THE STUDY

Online platforms have reshaped the world as we know it, bringing communities together, creating new marketplaces, and altering how we live our lives. While these platforms have served many, users are not being granted equal access to their digital rights. Sex Workers, marginalized persons, and activists are disproportionately being subjected to shadowbanning, deactivations, and suspensions (Warin et al., 2025). Due to a lack of protection, those who are already vulnerable face the growing threat of being financially excluded (Webber & Franco, 2025), doxxed (Divon, Are, & Briggs, 2025), and threatened with physical violence (Kavanagh, Litchfield, & Osborne, 2019). This report is a legal scan to assess relevant legislation as it pertains to the deplatforming, surveillance, or criminalization of Sex Workers and other marginalized communities.

Addressing LGBTI Homelessness in Europe: Published June 2025

Our new report reveals how stigma, discrimination and economic insecurity push LGBTI people across Europe into hidden homelessness. From minority stress to family rejection and racialised barriers, the findings show that LGBTI homelessness is a systemic issue, not an individual one. Effective solutions exist, but they remain far too limited. Real change requires inclusive policies, trauma-informed services and action on the structural discrimination driving housing instability. Homelessness Report 2025
